Holy Angels beginning a Capital Development Campaign! It is no secret to long-time church members that our parish buildings need extensive repair and work. The Archdiocese recently committed itself to helping with these needed repairs. They assessed the work to be done as followings:

(1) Completely rehabbing the rectory

(2) Extensive wall and roof repair on the church.

The entire cost of these repairs will be approximately $2 million dollars. With this in mind, Holy Angels has begun a major fund campaign to help raise these monies and enable us to continue the good work done here for over 120 years. You will be hearing more on this is the months ahead!

Sr. Sara continues helping many with "Joseph's Coat! Sr. Sara works weekly in Ida B. Wells, and the surrounding neighborhood, helping people with clothing, food and whatever else she can. She is a beacon of light, and a gentle listening ear for many many people! Ask her how she is doing next time you see her or sending her an e-mail at    Gregory Callaway

Holy Angels School continues to prosper! Enrollment at this largest Black Catholic grade school in the country is at over 700 children.

Tax Assistance Program resumes this spring! Each year, Holy Angels sponsors a program to enable area people of limited financial resources to have their taxes analyzed free of charge. Advisors are here on Saturdays from February through April 15 from 9 AM t0 12 PM in the church basement.
